Description
The TERA K15 assembled Terahertz spectrometer is our complete fiber-coupled solution for broadband THz time-domain spectroscopy in a compact configuration. The THz path with fiber coupled THz antennas and TPX polymer lenses requires minimal alignment effort and offers flexibility for quick and easy application in transmission and reflection geometry. The entire THz path can be positioned outside the spectrometer housing. Ready to use at the push of a button, our TERA K15 THz-TDS system is ideal for laboratories oriented towards high-performance investigation of various material properties.
The TERA K15 technology is based on materials designed for the MIR spectral range at around 1560 nm. The setup includes the femtosecond fiber laser, fiber-coupled THz emitter and detector antenna modules, fiber-coupled opto-mechanical light path with delay line, THz beam path, electronics for data acquisition, and a PC with software.
The software package includes TeraScan mesurement and automation software, TeraFFT and TeraMat software for spectral data analysis and calculation of material parameters (absorption coefficient and refractive index). TeraMat is suitable for sample thickness of several 100 µm and above.
For Terahertz imaging applications our automated extension unit TERA Image can be integrated into the setup.
TERA K15 THz-TDS system has been successfully tested in industrial environment by our partners PTS and SKZ.
